Case Study
EeStairs has achieved recognition from an ability to deliver the seemingly impossible. A recent project saw the design team called upon to design a unique, custom made ‘DNA™ staircase’ to form the centerpiece of the 'Darwin’s Evolution’ exhibition' by The Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation in Lisbon, a travelling attraction celebrating the 200th anniversary of Charles Darwin. The double helix stairs was required to be both an expression of the DNA form and an exciting attraction for young visitors. EeStairs delivered a striking stairs that children could safely climb to the upper level then enjoy a ride back to ground level on a transparent slide.
