With the 1m²™ stair system by EeStairs, the roof becomes truly accessible. This custom-made metal spiral staircase requires just one square meter of space at both the lower and upper levels. Without major renovations and without sacrificing living space, it creates a safe and comfortable connection to the outdoors.

The 1m²™ staircase is built to be strong and stable. The upper section of the handrail can be unscrewed, allowing the roof hatch to close completely when the staircase is not in use. The top step also aligns seamlessly with the roof surface, ensuring a comfortable and secure step onto the terrace. Thanks to its open design, the staircase remains light and airy, even in compact interiors.

Functional and Stylish

As you would expect from EeStairs, design is just as important as functionality. The 1m²™ staircase is available in hundreds of powder-coating colors and is fully custom-made. For this project, RAL 5014 was chosen—a soft blue tone that perfectly complements sky and greenery.

A plant at the foot of the staircase enhances the sense that indoors and outdoors flow seamlessly into one another.
