A luxury home located on IJburg, a collection of artificial islands east of Amsterdam required a feature staircase.

The homeowners opted for a floating staircase with treads fixed to the wall without visible stringers. A transparent glass balustrade was added to meet regulations, while maintaining the appearance of floating treads.
