How sexy is this staircase?

You could even imagine these stairs, which are in a home in The Hague, Holland, as a work of art.
And speaking of imagination, that’s exactly what we needed when our EeStairs craftsmen and installers made and delivered the stairs.

Look at the geometry of the balustrades. Beautiful, but NOT SIMPLE. The asymmetric lines and surfaces of the balustrades had to be perfect. And the dark-stained wooden treads had to match the colour of the steel.

And how did we get the stairs into the home? Through the narrow historic streets of The Hague . . . and then by lifting the stairs into the home with a crane.
But none of that effort shows, does it? The stairs stand as gracefully as a pirouetting ballet dancer in the room – the absolute centre of attention.

How often can you walk up and down a work of art? In this home, as often as you like.
