The 1m2™ can be placed on any type of floor. The only thing you have to check in advance is that there is no underfloor heating.

They cannot be delivered without a handrail. A handrail is required because it provides more support and comfort, especially for users unfamiliar with space-saving stairs in cramped locations.

Yes, We recommend to select the ‘lowered top step’ option, the upper part of the handrail can be unscrewed to close the hatch.

The staircase is made of steel. Each 1m2™ staircase is unique in terms of sizes. The stairs are therefore not in stock. The stringer and treadss are welded together in the factory. Then the handrail is made. After that, the 1m2™ gets the chosen finish. The non-slip caps are made of rubber.

The 1m2™ is prepared on a pallet. Then, depending on the chosen transport option, well protected. A set with bolts to attach the stairs above and below and possibly chosen balustrades and rubber plugs are included if chosen.
