For Hotel Sterea, Olivier Dwek Architectures designed a calm, light-filled lobby in which the staircase forms the natural focal point. EeStairs delivered a sculptural plywood spiral staircase, built from large curved panels that rise in one continuous, fluid movement. The visible wood grain, the crisp radius and the solid timber handrail make the design warm, tactile and precisely detailed.

Plywood is also back as a trending material, including in coloured finishes. Think of a two-tone treatment that keeps the grain visible, as seen in sustainable wood applications. This allows the same staircase to range from natural to subtly two-tone, without losing its material character.
