Clips™ Where to Use
Clips™ is designed for stairs that need architectural quality without the complexity of developing a completely bespoke railing. Primarily intended for concrete stairs in new-build and renovation projects, it moves easily between residential, commercial, public and industrial settings. Architects can define the appearance quickly; contractors receive the price, production time and coordinated project information needed to move forward with confidence.
Residential and Commercial Spaces
In houses, apartment buildings, offices, hotels and retail interiors, the continuous ribbon gives the stair a recognisable architectural identity. It can remain restrained in Mono or become more expressive through Duo and stronger colour combinations. The IFC model and visualisation help the architect coordinate the design early, while the immediate price, technical drawings and Anchor Plan give the contractor a clear route towards ordering and installation.
Public and Industrial Environments
Schools, public buildings, circulation cores, transport environments and industrial projects often contain highly functional stairs. Clips™ allows those stairs to contribute to the architecture without complicating the programme. Configured geometry, repeatable production, total CO2 for each configuration and accurate fixing data are especially valuable where a project contains several floors or repeated stair flights. The result is a durable steel railing with consistent quality and a controlled production schedule.
Retrofits
An existing concrete stair can gain a completely new presence without replacing the stair itself. Its geometry is entered into the configurator, the railing is made to measure, and every completed configuration is reviewed before production. Technical drawings and the Anchor Plan clarify how the new railing will connect to the existing structure, reducing avoidable site work. The Anchor Plan works for both new stairs and retrofits, although the process is most efficient when fixing positions can be incorporated into a new concrete stair before manufacture. Other stair constructions can also be assessed where Clips™ can be engineered and fixed appropriately.
